Refurbishment of PMU Office for the Fiscal Management Development Project — Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs

Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs, Projects Management Unit (PMU), the implementing Agency of The Gambia Fiscal Management Development Project is inviting sealed price quotations from eligible and qualified bidders for the removal of existing partition, re-partitioning, painting, electrical repairs and supply of office furniture and fittings Project Management Unit Office.

Bidding will be conducted through shopping procedures specified in the “World Bank Procurement Regulation for IPF Borrowers, Procurement in Investing Project Financing, Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services” dated July 1, 2016 revised in November 2017 and August 2018 and the World Bank’s Anti-Corruption Guidelines: “Guidelines on Preventing and Combatting Fraud and Corruption in Projects financed by IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and Grants,” revised in June 2011 and July 2016.

You may obtain further information from the Project Coordinator, Project Management Unit Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs, the quadrangle, Banjul, The Gambia from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday-Thursday) and 8:00 a.m. to 12: 30p.m on Fridays.

The bidder shall furnish documentary evidence of the following requirement(s):

• Updated GPPA Registration

• Proof of similar contracts performed in the last five years

Price quotation will be evaluated base on the most advantageous and substantially responsive to the RFQ, and contract will be awarded to the firm offering the lowest most responsive evaluated quotation.

Quotations must be delivered to the address above at or before10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 17th November 2020. Late quotations will be rejected. Quotations will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend in person at the address below at 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, 17th November 2020.

Your quotation(s) should be submitted as per the following instructions and in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of supply.

(i) PRICES: The prices shall be quoted in Gambia Dalasi, United States Dollar, Euro or Great British Pound and shall be fixed and not subject to any price adjustment.

(ii) EVALUATION AND AWARD OF PURCHASE ORDER: The award will be made to the firm offering the lowest evaluated prices and that meets the required standards of technical and financial capabilities.

(iii) VALIDITY OF THE OFFER: Your quotations(s) should be valid for a period of 30 days from the date of receipt for quotations.

It is expected that the winning supplier would agree with Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs Project Management Unit to deliver the items within Four (4) weeks period and partial quotations will not be accepted.
