Country: The Gambia Name of Project: Harmonizing and Improving Statistics in West and Central Africa (HISWACA) Contract Title: Complete overhaul, refurbishment and landscaping of GBoS Office Space Grant No.: IDA 1750E – GM RFB Reference No.: GM-GBOS - GAMBIA-564281-CW-RFB The Government of the Gambia has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Harmonizing and Improving Statistics in West and Central Africa (HISWACA) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Complete Overhaul, Refurbishment, and Landscaping of GBoS Office Space. • For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.

The Project Implementation Unit (PIU) now invites sealed Bids from interested Bidders or Contractors to bid for Construction, i.e. Complete Overhaul, Refurbishment, and Landscaping of GBoS Office Space. • The GBoS Office Space is situated at Kanifing Institutional Layout and all the interested Bidders or Contractors are invited to bid. • Bidding will be conducted through national competitive bidding using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (edition - September 2025) (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. • Interested Bidders or Contractors may obtain further information from the Project Implementation Unit; Attn: Mohammed L.

The method of payment will be Cash.

The document may be available both hard and soft copy upon payment of the nonrefundable fee. • Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 14TH September 2026 at 12:00noon. Electronic Bidding will NOT be permitted. Late Bids shall be REJECTED.
