- The Government of Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Institutional Capacity Building Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Integrated Financial Platform (Core Banking System & Accounting System) for the Central Bank of Sao Tome and Principe.
- The Agência Fiduciária de Administração de Projetos – AFAP now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Design, supply and Installation of a Core Banking System and Accounting System for the Central Bank of Sao Tome and Principe. This activity is expected to complete during 36 months
- Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
- Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from AFAP, Carlos Bonfim, [email protected] and [email protected] and inspect the bidding document during office hours 8h00 – 12h00 and 14h30 – 17h00 at the address given below.
- The bidding document in English may be obtained by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 09:00 AM on January 31, 2022. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below, at 09:00 AM on January 31, 2022.
- A site visit conducted by the Purchaser will be held on December 8, 2021 at 09h00 (STP Local time) at the Central Bank of Sao Tome and Principe (BCSTP). A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on December 8, 2021 at 10h00 (STP Local time) in the BCSTP Meeting Room.
- All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration.
- Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
