The Government of Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe by and through its Project Fiduciary and Administrative Agency-AFAP has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Health Emergency Preparedness, Response and Resilience Program Using the Multiphase Programmatic Approach (P180127) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract [1]for Acquisition of essential medicines for the National Health System, to guarantee a regular supply[2].

• The Project Fiduciary and Administrative Agency-AFAP now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Acquisition of essential medicines for the National Health System, to guarantee a regular supply[3]. 3.

Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” September 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4.
